BUT at this particular moment, I probably would choose reading. I can't imagine not being able to immerse myself in the beautiful creations of other people, experiencing worlds and lives and situations different from my own. (Thank goodness I don't need to choose though!)Alexa S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13185723439360170259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1214401809446305406.post-61368506035964332062013-08-08T08:19:14.510-04:002013-08-08T08:19:14.510-04:00No doubt your site is amazing and I really like it...No doubt your site is amazing and I really like it. I HAVE to write. I've kept a journal since I was young. But I also HAVE to read. It's my escape, the way I destress and regroup. I...can't. I can't answer that, even though it's just a hypothetical!! *weeps silently in corner*Mary @ BookSwarmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04099395167194720599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1214401809446305406.post-1760535984102472872013-08-07T13:30:08.567-04:002013-08-07T13:30:08.567-04:00I can't imagine being without either. But if I were only allowed to read and not write, it'd be a cruel life, and I'd have to give up reading cuz it'd be a constant reminder I'm not allowed to create. An artist without a paintbrush, or a writer without a pen, it's all the same. I'd be an empty shell.PK HREZOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11650153097981426833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1214401809446305406.post-61591613746251598452013-08-06T22:09:44.246-04:002013-08-06T22:09:44.246-04:00Well, I love both so this is hard but I have to sa...Well, I love both so this is hard but I have to say I would pick reading if I HAD to choose. I'm not a very strong writer and I will always prefer reading other people's works over my own.Anniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10860018030056290291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1214401809446305406.post-75613515565512895932013-08-06T21:24:55.134-04:002013-08-06T21:24:55.134-04:00My answer has also changed in the space of the las...My answer has also changed in the space of the last few years. It'd be difficult, but once, I would've chosen writing. However, now, reading is the rope I cling to because I'm at a point in my life where writing is too... difficult, but reading allows me to breathe.Emy Shinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06841308748068494839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1214401809446305406.post-74156741994423302242013-08-06T18:31:27.733-04:002013-08-06T18:31:27.733-04:00I would choose writing, because you can read what ...I would choose writing, because you can read what you write as you craft the story.LinWashhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13041832821260168483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1214401809446305406.post-55271588053516295802013-08-06T15:20:11.061-04:002013-08-06T15:20:11.061-04:00Reading.
