Meme: Teen Books Everyone Should Know About

I love lists. I'm obsessed with them. Writing them, checking them off, constantly updating them... Lists of Bests is a site that I am sad to admit I frequent much more than I probably should (especially since it's not like the contents of those lists ever change, and not like the amount I have consumed of each list can change on a daily basis or anything). Anyway. I saw this meme over at Chelsea's blog, and I figured this is the kind of fun stuff I like to do and continue to spread with others.

The following list of books teens love, books teens should read, and books adults who serve teens should know about was compiled IN ABSOLUTELY NO SCIENTIFIC MANNER and should be taken with a very large grain of salt.

Instructions:
Put an "X" next to the books you've read
Put a "+" next to the books you LOVE
Put a "#" next to the books you plan on reading
Tally your "X"s at the bottom

  1. I've only read 17 of them, but I have quite a few sat waiting to be read.

Oh, and Steph, I love that you put a '+' next to The Book Thief. That's my girl!

  2. Hi Steph,

See you found a layout you like. I like it, too. I listen when you make suggestions or ask for information as well. I read your post about Asian Americans at BES. Working on it. Check out recent posts at Color Online. Answer the Potpourri quiz and be entered in a drawing for another free book.

    Thanks,
