The House of Dead Maids has such a creepy cover. I'm not sure if I could look at that every day. I would have to make her some eyes and tape 'em on.
ReplyDeleteGreat books this week. A New Lucy Christopher book! hadn't even heard of it. I look forward to what you think about Confessions of the Sullivan Sisters, I really enjoyed How to Say Goodbye in Robot. I love the cover for The House of Dead Maids. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteYou got The House of Dead Maids and Fallout... jealous. :(
ReplyDeleteI'm really curious about The House of Dead Maids since Wuthering Heights is my favorite classic. I'll be looking forward to your review on it.
I have to agree with Em, The House of Dead Maids IS really creepy, but I think that makes me want to read it even more LOL.
ReplyDeleteGreat picks for this week
Happy Reading
Oh, you got House of Dead Maids! I love Clare B. Dunkle, especially her Hollow Kingdom trilogy.
ReplyDeleteOh, I *love* Pretty Bad Things. It was just... wow.
ReplyDeleteI tend to have mixed feelings about Claire B. Dunkle's books, but that one sounds potentially awesome. Can't wait to hear what you think!
I want to read Fallout so badly...And, I bet the poster's awesome. Let us know what you think!
ReplyDeleteOoh, Flyaway and Pretty Bad Things! I loved both - hope you do too :)
ReplyDeleteAlso Fallout is amazing!
The cover of Flyaway reminds me of the cover of Stolen (I think it's the simple swan image vs. the simple butterfly image). I'm disappointed that it's actually not a sequel! :-(
ReplyDeleteHouse of Dead Maids looks so scary. >_< I don't think I would have picked it up. But looking forward to your reviews!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading. =)
The House of Dead Maids is so on my wishlist! The cover is gorgeous, and I like the sound of the synopsis.
ReplyDeleteI'll look forward to your review.
Happy Reading!
Lucky you for getting the new Standiford book. If I recall correctly, I read (and loved) her Robot book based on your review.
